Artist's Statement:

When I first put hammer to metal, I fell in love. I am lucky enough to spend my days in my cozy Oakland studio hammering away on earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings that delight and inspire.  Each piece is entirely handmade, starting out as a pencil on paper sketch, or occasionally a daydream over a Manhattan. I bring each design to life in precious metals using old-school techniques—think hand-carving wax models for casting and forging shapes from sheet or wire.  I strive to make each piece so textural you’ll want to touch it, so finely crafted that you’ll treasure it, and so thoughtfully designed that you’ll never want to take it off.
